RACE FOR THE REST OF US
A FUN, WHACKY “RACE” FOR A GREAT CAUSE!
The second annual Race for the Rest of Us was on October 10, 2026, at Griffiths Park in Caldwell. The “grueling” .5k “race,” benefitting Metro Community Services, is one-third of a mile (or exactly 546.8 yards) and intended for all ages and abilities.
All proceeds directly support Metro Community Services’ transportation service, which offers free, door-to-door service for seniors and people with disabilities in Canyon County to medical appointments, senior centers, grocery and drug stores, the Caldwell YMCA, the Nampa Recreation Center, and other locations. For many passengers, Metro’s service is their only transportation option.
