Metro’s In-Home division consists of three in-home support services: Homemaker, Personal Care, and Respite. Homemakers, Personal Care attendants, and Respite caregivers are paraprofessional workers who are trained to assist seniors by performing essential tasks to prevent or prolong the need for alternative living arrangements. Our goal is to create a healthful and safe home environment.
Fees, if any, are based on income and determined by the Area Agency on Aging or by Medicaid for qualified applicants. Services are also available at $20 per hour for those who chose to pay privately.
Currently, In-Home Services are available only in Canyon and Western Owyhee counties.
Homemaker staff may assist with general home maintenance, i.e. vacuuming, dusting, laundry, kitchen, and bathroom cleaning, other light housekeeping tasks, and essential errands.
Personal Care services include housekeeping plus assisting with personal care needs such as meal preparation, bathing, and dressing.
We are currently in need of more Personal Care Attendants. If you are interested in joining our team, please submit the application below or get in touch by visiting our Contact page.
Respite care is available to caregivers providing 24 hour care. Our staff will care for the loved one while caregiver can receive a much needed break.
